Congratulations to all those who’ve contributed to improving Hall Street Green – behind St. Marys Church in Cheadle.
Until a few decades ago, the green was two streets of victorian terraces – a lot of work’s already gone in, and continuing, to make it a green space to be proud of.
Here are a couple of photos. A cold November afternoon might not be quite the time to catch it at its best, but you get the idea.



Can this be registered as a village green? As it was once housing, it could be sold for development again.
