The Council has been looking at further flooding issues on Styal Road, Gatley and the hope is that the problems are understood and should soon be sorted out.

There seem to have been two main issues.

One is detritus being washed down and gathering at the bottom, blocking some gulleys.

The second is one of the utility companies doing some work which inadvertently put a blockage across a section of the drainage system.
