Following complaints from residents, the Council has issued a legal notice requiring Virgin Media to fix the broken cover in the pavement on Ashfield Road, by the junction with Ashfield Crescent, Cheadle (near the library).

We’ve effectively had a big hole in the pavement, covered over with some fencing, and Virgin Media have taken far too long to fix it.

We’ve been told that they should be repairing it shortly – we’ll be checking!
