Stockport Council has organised a funding event for community and voluntary organisations seeking extra money.

Groups needing extra funding are being encouraged to come along to the funding event on Wednesday 2nd November, from 10.00am to 1.30pm at Stockport Baptist Church, Thomson Street, Stockport, SK3 9DR.

There will be a wide range of funders and funding experts on hand at the event to offer groups advice on how best to obtain money and chat about funding for project ideas. People will also be able to take part in workshops on funding and fundraising.

The event will also include free refreshments and a prize draw.
