Councillors have approved plans to enhance Gatley Green – full details of the proposals are here.

The plans include blocking off the cut-through road. There has been some concern over the resurfacing of the road, and no decision has yet been made on what that will be. There are quite a few options and we’ll be aiming to find the best one that fits the budget.

The work will only go ahead if money is available. We think it will be, but it’s possible that will change (for example if the other parties on Stockport Council change the Lib Dem budget).
