Stockport Council’s fostering service is actively recruiting foster carers for the recently launched specialist fostering scheme and is aiming to attract people who have had direct experience of working with older children and young adults with additional needs and challenging behaviours.

An open evening will be held on Thursday 6th February 2014, starting at 6.30 pm until 8pm at The Village Hotel, Cheadle. The open evening will explain more about the scheme which offers an annual salary of £28k-£30k as well as generous allowances and extensive support and training.
