THORN GROVE CHEADLE HULME THE PAVEMENT IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL FIELD RUNNING UP TO WHERE THE SCOUT HUT IS . THIS IS A VERY BADLY DAMAGED TARMACED AREA THAT HAS BEEN REPAIRED BADLY IN THE PAST. THIS PAVEMENT IS DIFFICULT TO WALK ON AND POSES A PROBLEM TO CHILDREN ON CYCLES

    Hi Iain,

That is an impressive list and I’m glad to see so many of the roads and pavements being re-surfaced. Can you tell me if warren avenue is in plan at all it’s also in a bit of a state but perhaps not as bad as some that have been mentioned. Thanks Louise.

  4. Iain Roberts says:

Hi Louise – Warren Avenue (along with hundreds of others) will be done, but we don’t have a list for exactly what and when yet.

  5. Sarah Corbett says:

Is this why the pavements have been marked up with spray paint? Also will drop down curbs be done? We have a neighbour who parks one if his cars/vans outside our house blocking our driveway because the curb is only dropped part way. Hope this makes sense. Sarah

  6. Bruce thwaite says:

You always imply that it is the LibDems that is doing this and not the council. I listened to Paddy Ashown waffling on five live this morning and he actually believes that they have the answer to everything and the rest are clueless. What claptrap!

    • Robert Taggart says:

‘Pantsdown’ went on to waffle on BBC 2 Daily Politics later !
To be fair though – he did give AFN a ‘run for his money’ !

So, Councillor – who from here be representing our interests in ‘Glasgie’ ? !

      • Iain Roberts says:

That would be me, Robert – among others. Glad to say I’ve had several meetings with Government ministers pushing local issues, especially around transport, jobs and skills.

  7. Sirous says:
