The parapets of the footbridge from Church Road to Walter Stansby Park, Gatley will be repainted from 19th to 30th September, and the bridge will be closed during that period.

The retaining wall running alongside Church Road by the park will also be repaired over the same period as part of the Council’s Retaining Walls programme.  The railings running alongside the park on Church Road will be fully repainted.  There will be no effect on traffic flow, but the pavement will be narrowed to allow the work to go on.
