Have your say on Healthier Together, urges Mark Hunter

by Lib Dem team on 24 September, 2014

From Mark Hunter MP

Mark Hunter MPDear Resident,

The NHS in Greater Manchester launched the “Healthier Together” consultation aimed at strengthening hospital services for life threatening conditions and the deadline to have your say is this Sunday, 28th September.

Stepping Hill and Manchester Wythenshawe have the opportunity of bidding to become one of the top few “Specialist” hospitals in Greater Manchester.

I meet with senior teams at our local hospitals on a regular basis and know that they provide first class care for our community; both have exciting proposals of what they can provide for local residents.

I want to ensure local people have their say so that we can receive the very highest level of care.

I am therefore urging you to have your say, if you have not already done so, and to take part in latest consultation.

To find out more about the consultation and to contribute, please go to healthiertogethergm.nhs.uk.

Combining all of Stockys NHS Hospital services on the one site – Stepping Hill – made sense.
Alas, that site be a mish-mash – a complete shambles – time for a new NHS Hospital ?
Said hospital should also be on a single site with ideally just the one building – but – not at Stepping hill !
The Stepping Hill site could then be sold for housing ? – at a profit ?? – to the benefit of the local NHS ???
