What’s coming to Cheadle Area Committee, 10th March 2015

Cheadle Area Committee (covering the three wards of Heald Green, Cheadle & Gatley and Cheadle Hulme North) meets at 6pm on Tuesday 10th March 2015. It’s a public meeting and all are welcome to come to the Ladybridge Park Residents Club, Edenbridge Road, Cheadle Hulme.

On the agenda:

  • Application for £950 funding from St Anns Road North Allotment Association to improve road into the allotments.
  • Planning application 57234 for the White Hart pub, Cheadle to put 6 tables and 24 chairs on the pavement i front of the pub. Officers are recommending grant and it’s coming to area committee because 4 people have objected.
  • Planning applications 57381 and 57383 – a new proposal to develop the Barnes Hospital site with about half the number of dwellings previously proposed. Officers recommend grant, it’s coming to Area Committee because a number objections have been received.
  • Dedication of bridleway between Warwick Close and Calderbrook Drive, Cheadle to allow horse-riding and cycling along the path in addition to walking.
  • 11.5m extension of double yellow lines on Outwood Drive, Heald Green at the junction with Outwood Road.
  • Proposal to install two Vehicle Activated Speed signs near the Seashell Trust on Stanley Road.
  • Amending of no stopping/no waiting lines and times outside the school on East Avenue, Heald Green.
  • Proposal to remove of the old-style free residents parking scheme on Jackson Street, Cheadle after consultation with residents.
  • Proposal to grant annual tenancy to The Kids Club at Bolshaw Primary School where they have a mobile classroom.
  • Application from Gatley Village Partnership to hold “Bike Fest” at Scholes Field on 25th April.
  • Application for Gatley Fun Day to use Scholes Fields/Gatley Hill House on 5th July.
