I was very pleased to attend the official opening of the new toddlers’ playground at Bruntwood Park this afternoon, along with Cllr John Smith – Exec member for Leisure. Yes, it was cold but at least it wasn’t raining or hailing, and the youngsters certainly enjoyed it.

Thanks to senior ranger Jane Bardsley for all the organising – I’m sure the new facility will be a real asset to for the park.
