The old church, which was run by Glo Family for a while, is to be home to a nursery – Nursery Rhymes Nursery and there’s an open day on Saturday 7th September from 10am to 2pm.
As Marketing Stockport reports:
A new family run children’s day nursery is opening in Cheadle Stockport, promising quality childcare and stimulating learning experiences in a magnificent spacious building.
Nursery Rhymes Nursery is due to open in early September, it is located on Stockport Road in Cheadle, in a beautiful building which used to be a Unitarian Church but was more recently home to Glo-Family, a children’s party venue.
The Nursery is owned by a husband and wife team that have experience in senior management in healthcare and running a business prior to embarking on this new venture. They are supported by their daughter Liane who is an early years teacher. The Nursery has appointed an excellent nursery manager Helen, who holds a degree in early years childhood studies and holds the early years professional status. The team are enthusiastic, experienced and highly qualified.

Hope that the carets who walk their children to this nursery keep their eyes peeled to avoid all the dog excrement on the pavements on Stockport Road. Even noticed a mound yesterday on a low wall close to these premises. Yuk!
