We are shocked and saddened by the death of a 39 year old woman in Cheadle Hulme on Monday evening. Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of the woman.

We would like to thank the Police for their swift response and extensive search which has resulted in a man handing himself into the Police and being charged with murder.

Cheadle Hulme is a peaceful place with a strong community spirit and we will work with residents to recover and move on from this tragic event.
