As many residents will know, we have a particular problem with vandalism and anti-social behaviour in Gatley village at the moment, particularly around Oakwood, Beech, Elm, Cedar, Burnside and Gatley Road near the village centre.
The Police are working hard to sort it out, with measures including CCTV, increased patrols and others.
Pam and I are making sure the police know of any issues that are raised with us so everyone has the fullest picture of what’s happening.
Please let Pam or myself know if you’ve any concerns or suffer any problems – in addition of course to reporting any criminal incidents to the police.

Thanks for your post and it’s good to know that you are aware of how bad things have become recently.
Is there any chance you could speak to the businesses who are open into the evening – such as the Co-Ops, Bargain Booze and the take-away outlets – who are also probably witness to what’s going on into the evening but I’m not sure how active they are in alerting the police.
