Following a lot of work by the Police last weekend, the problem with anti-social behaviour in Gatley village centre seems to have been less in the last few days.

Police action included identifying several of the people involved and visited them and their families, plus increased patrols.

Pam and I would like to thank the Police for all their work, and the residents who have had to put up with these problems for keeping us and the police informed and doing a lot to identify the trouble-makers.

These problems are rarely completely solved – they more often come and go. We’ll be keeping a close eye on things, so please do let us know if you experience more problems with anti-social behaviour or vandalism.
