In what has proved to be a very tough year for the Liberal Democrats to face the electorate, Pam and I like to thank everyone who supported us in Cheadle and Gatley where Pam’s re-election was announced in the early hours of this morning.
The result was:
Pam King (Liberal Democrats) 2153
Conservatives 2063
Labour 1143.
The turnout was a high (for local elections) 46.5% and Pam’s majority is 90.
Whatever happens nationally, you can be sure that Pam, myself and the team will continue to work hard to get the best for our villages.
