Cycle Training – Not Just for Kids
It’s FREE
It’s Built Around YOU
It’s BETTER by cycle
There’s no need to be worried about getting back on your bike or trying something new with our free cycle training courses for adults*. Qualified instructors will be more than happy to help you find your cycling legs.
There’s no problem with being a novice** either, our instructors can help improve your skills while you learn to control your bike – with sessions starting in a traffic free space if need be.
How does it work?
Once you’ve registered your details, one of our instructors will contact you and arrange a session bespoke to your needs. So that’s a convenient place and time, either weekday or weekend, again it’s your choice!
As you start out, you may wish to make your first course a 1-2-1 session so that you can really concentrate on improving your skills, but if you’d prefer you can learn with a friend, with a partner or family member – it’s your choice!
If you’ve recently rediscovered your enthusiasm for cycling and would appreciate some hints and tips on how to make safe on-road journeys, you can take up to 3 free sessions to help you refresh your skills and provide you with the confidence needed to tackle the harder parts of your journeys. Just let your instructor know what you’d like to focus on – it might be a new route to work, a specific manoeuvre, junction or positioning in a particularly busy area.
Advanced skills
There are also options for confident and experienced cyclists too.
Our instructors can help you to hone your cycling skills to cycle with confidence on roads with more traffic or more complex road layouts. The instructor can also help you with route planning as there may be alternatives that you weren’t aware of.
