I’m very pleased to hear that we’re to have new play equipment at Scholes Field in a few months time.

The Playbuilder scheme was put on hold by the Coalition Government whilst they examined whether it was affordable.  They’ve now concluded that it is, so we’re getting the money.

The new play equipment should be in place by the end of March 2011.

The other Playbuilder schemes in phase 2 will also go ahead, also to be completed next Spring:
