The M60 ground to a halt near Stockport at around 2pm today.  The Stockport Express is reporting that a man fell to his death onto the motorway.

officers discovered the body of a man, who is thought to have fallen from a nearby bridge or wall.

The incident caused traffic problems and long delays between junction 1 Stockport Pyramid and junction 25 at Brinnington.

No doubt we’ll find out more about what appears to be a sad tragedy.
