Update: here are the school closures for Thursday 2nd December 2010.

Stockport Council’s website has information on school closures, road closures, gritting and disruptions to council services caused by the snow.

The following Stockport schools are closed on Wednesday 1st December 2010:

• Fairway Primary School, Offerton
• Greave Primary School, Stockport
• Harrytown Secondary School
• Highfields PRU
• Offerton High School, Offerton
• Ludworth Primary School
• Marple Hall School, Marple
• Reddish Vale Nursery
• St Anne’s RC High School
• Stockport Academy, Cheadle Heath
• Werneth School in Romiley
• Westmoorland Primary School, Brinnington
• Windlehurst Primary School

Tonight’s evening classes at the Music Centre, Offerton School has been cancelled due to the school’s closure.

There are currently no emergency disruptions to Council services (e.g. bin collections) – all are proceding as normal.
