From the Council:

Stockport Council is urging borough based voluntary groups and charities to submit bids for funding from the Mayor of Stockport’s Charity Fund. The Mayor of Stockport’s Charity Fund is registered with the Charities Commission and the money from the fund is distributed throughout the year.

To submit a bid for money from the Mayor of Stockport’s Charity Fund people need to complete an application form which can be found at www.stockport.gov.uk/mayor or contact the Mayor’s Office on 0161 474 3300.
