Stockport Full Council – the tweet report

by Lib Dem team on 10 September, 2010

Avondale Leisure Centre update: Following an announcement on 23rd September 2010, there will be a public consultation and further studies before a final decision on the closure of Avondale Leisure Centre.  Here’s more information.

There were a couple of us actively tweeting at last night’s Stockport Full Council – myself and Jen from the Stockport Express.

Thanks to my tech guru friend Ryan, here are our tweet feeds combined for your reading pleasure.  Due to delays (see below) the meeting started at 6.30pm and finished at about 10.40pm.

Note: now updated to include tweets to me from others during the meeting, so you can see both sides of the conversations and the comments from others following my report.

@JenGWilliams The story on andrew gave the impression that he didn’t think labour were to blame for econ, which he does.
CllrIainRoberts 22:23 Reply Retweet
Labour abstain on motion for more transparency (maureen rowles voted against, I think).
CllrIainRoberts 22:26 Reply Retweet
