Stockport Council’s Adoption Service has been rated as “outstanding” in all areas.

The inspection was carried out in September and the report from Ofsted states ‘this is a service which demonstrates a highly developed commitment to children and their future through adoption; this commitment is also evident in all other aspects of its responsibilities in respect of all those affected by adoption.’
