There have been a couple of incidents around Oakwood Avenue/Church Road in Gatley with fires being set and fireworks thrown around – the police are aware and Pam and I will be speaking to them surely to make sure everything fitting together from our side too in the run up to 5th November.

Pam’s been checking up on the Fireworks shop at Gatley Green – it needs to follow all the rules and be visited by the Fire Brigade.

And please can you let Pam or myself know if you come across any issues – as well as reporting them to the police of course.

Bonfire night and the few days around should be fun – let’s keep it that way.
