Works on Chorlton Bridge, Stockport Road, Cheadle (by Jubilee Park and Chorlton Drive) will be ongoing for six weeks from 19th October 2011. This is maintenance work on the bridge.
For one week, Stockport Road will be taken down to a single lane, with temporary traffic lights. This has been scheduled for the half term week (the last week in October) to minimise disruption.

I wonder if they will be able to provide a cycle way so that we don’t have to pass the narrowed bit. I asked Don Naylor about this when they were doing the examination a while back.
