Stockport Photographic Society (SPS) will unveil its annual exhibition at Stockport Art Gallery on Saturday 27th March.

SPS was founded in1890 by an enthusiast and is one of the oldest photographic societies in the country. The society has always played an important part in contributing to Stockport’s photographic archive.

SPS provides opportunities for professionals and amateurs to improve their photographic skills through competitions, workshops, talks and exhibitions.

The exhibition will run until 2nd May 2010. Stockport Art Gallery is open Tuesday – Friday 1.00pm to 5.00pm, Saturdays from 10.00am to 5.00pm and Sundays from 11.00am, to 5.00pm. Admission is free.
