Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Authority has advised of important changes to local Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC).

Rose Hill HWRC will close at the end of the day on Monday, 3 May 2010 for major redevelopment works and is scheduled to re-open in early January 2011.

The new redeveloped HWRC facility at Bredbury will open to residents on the Saturday, 1 May 2010.

Leaflets will be distributed on site at Rose Hill HWRC detailing alternative facilities available for use, a press advert will be placed advertising the closure and alternative sites, and a press release will be issued to local papers. The Recycle for Greater Manchester web site will also been update with this information.
