Stockport’s Culturefeast festival

Stockport’s annual arts festival, Culturefeast, is set to be the biggest, best and most creative yet. The festival, which runs from 13th – 31st May, features a wide range of free fun activities and events. Launching the festival will be Museums at Night from 13th – 15th May, when Stockport’s museums and attractions open their doors to the public for an annual after hours celebration.

Friday 14th May sees the launch of the spectacular new exhibition at Stockport Art Gallery – ‘Reggie’s Roller Palace’ – an installation of 110 life-size, ceramic, roller skating dogs. The launch weekend also sees the ‘Dancematters’ showcase and open air roller disco at St Peter’s Square in the town centre.

The festival finale weekend on Sunday 30th and Monday 31st May, promises an exciting line up of entertainment in the town centre including live music showcase and talent competition in the Market Place, and Vintage Fair in the Covered Market Hall.
