Work to resurface (and repaint the lines) on the Mary Street car park in Cheadle is planned to be undertaken on 2nd and 3rd August.

The car park will be partially closed on the 2nd, fully closed on the 3rd and back open on the 4th.

By removing some of the hatched area, the Council plans to increase the size of the spaces without reducing the number of spaces – several residents have complained that the current spaces are very tight for larger modern cars.
