On the 18th September Stockport Farmers’ Market will be hosting The International Food Festival at Stockport Market
The mayor will open the event and there will be live cookery demonstrations from celebrity chef Mike Harrison and the Thai restaurant Chilli Banana.
Several charities are involved in the markets including The Christie, Rainbow Trust, St Francis house and Erin Hounds. There will also be over fifty stalls, a food marquee selling food to eat at the event, a mini funfair, a menagerie of animals including miniature Shetland ponies, owls and hounds.
