Lib Dems deliver £700 tax cut for millions

The Liberal Democrats have delivered on a key front page manifesto commitment in full: millions of ordinary people will get a £700 tax cut compared to the amount of tax they paid under Labour, with many more lower paid people being taken out of paying tax altogether.
Under the Coalition Government, the top 10% richest people are paying more tax than at any time under Labour and the poorest are paying less.

Aye – then you steal it back – through near criminal rates of council Tax !
what a bunch of hypocrites the Libdems are – if you really wanted to cut taxes for local families why did you increase our council tax by 2.5%? The maximum was supposed to be 2% and you should have held a referendum.
One thing we can count on – this council will always increase the council tax by more than the average – with the exception of the last two freezes you have done ever since you have controlled the council.
Oh and what about the increase in VAT?
