Rising energy prices are an increasing concern to residents; on top of that energy companies have announced that prices are to increase again. Many Stockport residents would get a better deal on their energy by switching providers.

Better Energy Deals is being organised by the ten councils within Greater Manchester to allow residents to take control of their energy prices. The scheme began on 13 November, and will run until Christmas, to allow residents to compare energy prices and switch to a more competitive rate ahead of the inevitable price hikes from the big six.

Residents can also call the Energy Advice Line 0800 988 2426 for free advice on their energy bills and the various options available.
