Lib Dems secure new seat in bus shelter

Sometimes it’s the smaller things that are important to those affected by them.
A little while back the Lib Dem team had a request from a resident for a seat to be installed in the bus shelter on the Cheadle side of Gatley Road, near the Kingsway junction. We lobbied TfGM and are pleased to report that the seat was installed on 27th March.
Let us know if you spot anything around Cheadle and Gatley that needs improving. We can’t guarantee success, but we’ll always give it a go.

Thanks Iain I know it wasn’t me who asked but I do appreciate the opportunity to sit whilst waiting optimistically for the 11 to turn up on time!!
When will it be possible for you to make a comment, (even a positive one), without also turning it into a complaint!!!! Maybe someone would like to place odds on this????
How about removing the stop just before the lights eastbound on the Gatley side?
The bus blocks the left turn filter lane, and then needs to get to the middle lane causing further disruption.
Does the stop near the railway station not suffice for this stretch of Gatley Road?
