Together Trust Cheadle Festival and It’s a Knockout

by Lib Dem team on 3 June, 2015

The Together Trust’s campus is once again host to the annual Cheadle Festival Family Fun Day and It’s a Knockout competition on Saturday 13th June 2015, 11am to 4.40pm. More information here.

A wide variety of attractions will be on offer including a variety of stalls, arts and crafts, face painting, live music, a funfair featuring traditional exciting and inflatable rides and a range of refreshments from a traditional terrace cafe to burger and fries. Alternatively, you can relax in the sun with something stronger from the fully licensed bar available throughout the day.

As ever, the festival will also include Graham Fisher’s International It’s a Knockout, the original touring version of the legendary BBC TV show. It’s a great team game which entails trying to outscore your opponents on various tasks involving water, foam, silly costumes and a giant obstacle course. The event promises lots of fun and laughter, as well as opportunities for team building, boosting morale and the chance to challenge a rival business or community group to a physical challenge.

All net proceeds from the event will be used to purchase vital equipment and provide services.

So why not bring the whole family along for a great day out.

We live on Schools Hill and although there is no mention of any Friday night activities taking place, in the past there have been. There has been very loud music being relayed through loud speakers until very late at night, sometimes after midnight.
We hope that if there is something taking place on Friday June 12th, the organisers will ensure that there is no outdoor music beyond 11.30pm
