Cheadle and Gatley Lib Dems are moving

We’ve spotted bollards knocked down on Cheadle High Street (by the crossing) and Pendlebury Road, Gatley (by Carrs Passage).
Both have been reported to the Council and Highways Officers will attend within 24 hours to arrange repairs.
If you spot any other problems in the area, please do report them directly to the Council or let me know – whether it’s potholes, dangerous pavements, graffiti, fly-tipping, littering or anything else.

Thanks for attending to the damaged bollard at Pendlebury Rd/Carrs Passage, as you will know, this was put there to stop idiots driving up the pavement because they are too impatient to wait for cars coming down the hill and of course someone couldn’t wait, so there’s a damaged car or lorry somewhere- no sympathy; but residents are wondering would it be possible, when this bollard is replaced, to place maybe a couple more, outside Brookside Villas and the bottom of the hill on the corner of Brookside so that no-one can then attempt to drive up the pavement ?
