Ryanair to create 360 new jobs at Manchester Airport

Ryanair is bringing five new routes and 360 new jobs to Manchester Airport.

Over the next few years thousands of more jobs are expected to be created an Manchester Airport, with the Enterprise Zone and improved access with Metrolink and the A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road.

As Mancunian Matters reports:

The routes from Manchester will journey holidaymakers to Corfu, Krakow, Lanzarote, Paphos and Trapani and will introduce hundreds of new jobs

It’s good news for our area: unemployment has been falling across the country for several months and announcements like this will help that continue.

Does it mean more early morning noise for those in the flight path?

Manchester Airport has strict noise limits that they’re not allowed to exceed – I can’t see those changing.
