It used to be call Longley Lane Tip. Now it’s Longley Lane Resource Recovery Centre – more of a mouthful, but quite right because it’s all about re-using and recycling as much as possible.

Interesting and very vocal meeting on Thursday. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay to the end of the meeting but the acrid smell appeared to be H2S04 and Viridor have been trying to address the problem.
I have offered to check for smell morning and afternoon (whilst dog walking) and Viridor are trying to put the matter right.
Perhaps someone who stayed to end of the meeting will have further details.
