Our local professional basketball team, the Manchester Giants will be taking part in a free Fun Day at Parrs Wood on Saturday 12th April 11am – 4pm. The Giants are a great bunch of guys and loads of fun to watch.

The Giants are currently challenging for a play-off spot in the British Basketball League, they host Worcester Wolves at Wright Robinson College 5.30pm on Sunday 6th April, so if you fancy finding out what pro basketball is all about then I can recommend going along.
