Cheadle’s international standard BMX track opens to big crowds

We went to see the opening of the new BMX track at Bruntwood Park this morning. It’s built to top international standards and ranks as one of the best in the country, and it attracted hundreds of riders and a real party atmosphere (despite some “traditional” Stockport weather).
A new BMX Club has been formed and will be looking to take on the management of the track.
A big thanks to everyone involved in making the project such a big success including Sport England, the North West Mountain Bike Centre, Stockport Council and the many BMX enthusiasts who have come together.
