Info from the council:
Contractors working on behalf of Transport for Greater Manchester will be undertaking works to replace the sensor loops for the existing speed cameras on the A34, Kingsway, Cheadle; under the Etchells Road overpass.
These works require the use of lane closures from 7th September 2014 to 9th September 2014; between the hours of 8pm and 6am only.

How about while they’re on Kingsway, (just before the lights at Gatley), they correct the sign that shows 3 lanes going straight up when the right hand lane that goes to Gatley is a turn right only lane!
As a regular walker and driver around the area I must ask the cynical question – why bother? So many drivers disobey so often it must be that the camera results for years back are gathering dust in a drawer.
