Cheadle packed for Victorian Market

by Lib Dem team on 8 December, 2014

We’d like to thank everyone who put so much work into Cheadle’s Victorian Christmas Market last weekend. From the musicians and choir to the puppet show in the church, the funfair in the White Hart car park, the markets on Cheadle Green, the Churchyard and Old Rectory Gardens, the shop displays and a whole lot more, it was a great success that saw Cheadle busy all day.

We had a great time – mainly eating! Shopped as well – mainly more food.

The bit outside the church was unpleasantly busy and we skipped that.

Once again, like last year, a great ‘vibe’. Thanks to all who supported it, but sad that many of the shops didn’t feel the need to support the initiative.

Hi William – we have the Community Toilet scheme in Cheadle – the council pays for non-customers to be able to use the toilets in the Star Inn and Jacksons Fish Bar. Additionally you can use the toilets in Cheadle Library (also part of the scheme).
