Mark Hunter MP has organised a public meeting so you can have your say, and put forward your ideas, on improving the Kingsway junction.
The meeting will take place at 7pm on Friday 20th February at Cheadle (Kingsway) Sports Club, 225 Kingsway, Cheadle, SK8 1LA, hosted by Mark Hunter MP and Cllr Iain Roberts. Mark has also invited representatives from the Highways Agency, TfGM and Stockport Council.

Is it likely that all the organisations will attend?
How receptive are they likely to be to our ideas?
I’ve confirmation that people from all three are attending. The meeting will be structured to capture people’s ideas and feed them into the process. This is the start of the project to take a wider look at the junction so I think it’s the right time to do it.
It is such a shame that it is a Friday night,the beginning of the Sabbath, so not the best time for all the Jewish people in the area who might have attended otherwise.
Hi Jennifer – Mark is organising something separate for Jewish people who want to both observe the Sabbath and have their say. If you drop Mark an email (mark.hunter.mp@parliament.uk) he can make sure you’re included.
Finding a time suitable for everyone is pretty much impossible unfortunately, but I know Mark wants to make sure everyone has the opportunity to contribute.
